The win on Sunday was Mike Smith's 22nd regular season win as Falcons head coach. That tied him with former Falcons and current Miami Dolphins OC Dan Henning 6th place on the Falcons all-time coaches wins list. Next up for Smith is Jim Mora who is 5th with 26 wins.

The win on Sunday was Matt Ryan's 22nd regular season win as Falcons starting QB. That is 5th best on the Falcons all-time wins list. He is only 1 behind Chris Miller for 4th place.

It says alot about the "old" Falcons that a 3rd year coach and a 3rd year QB are so high on those lists.

I don't know if people appreciate what I'm about to say enough: this is literally the best era in Falcons football. We've never been this consistently good and it shows no signs of slowing.

I may not have been around to witness the down years of the 60s, 70s and 80s but I do understand from all the disappointment of the 90s and on that we suffered through.

I asked Peyton if this thread could be pinned so I could keep it updated throughout the season. But he never got back to me.
