Look at it this way... he only made 150% of Drew Brees' salary for a year.
Think about what Drew did this year, and them look at what the Commissioner did.
It was a bargain in those terms.

According to what I saw Brees made $20M last season which is over 9 less than what Goodell made in 2011 which was up from the little over $11M Goodell made in 2010.

don't be mad at RG, be mad at the owners, they are the ones paying him an ungodly amount of money so that he can continue to line their pockets. If somebody offered me 30M a year for anything I'd take it in a heartbeat, even if the job was giving back alley abortions to teenage girls in the Sudan.

No, the Saints were guilty of bountygate and that is why Payton did not appeal. Do you think Sean Payton is ignorant? No, he was aware that Williams was guilty as charged and could not defend him.
