RE: Nascar Fantasy Racing League - phocis850 - 02-22-2013 06:20 PM It's Friday. Figure it out? RE: Nascar Fantasy Racing League - ChrisD - 02-23-2013 12:10 AM Nope. But the league is active. All but one player is listed as picks in as if five minutes ago. Did you try creating a new username? RE: Nascar Fantasy Racing League - phocis850 - 02-23-2013 12:20 AM It will not work. I just don't see your league. RE: Nascar Fantasy Racing League - AUTiger7222 - 02-23-2013 12:25 AM (02-23-2013 12:10 AM)ChrisD Wrote: Nope. But the league is active. And I did decide to change my picks after watching the Duels. I had to get creative. But now I've got Brad K, Logano, Harvick, Waltrip and Stenhouse. I'm not a Waltrip fan but he was all I could afford after picking up Harvick. I just did miss having enough left over to get Bayne instead of Waltrip. I was 1 dollar short. I got Harvick for my streak to the finish pick. RE: Nascar Fantasy Racing League - AUTiger7222 - 03-12-2013 12:48 AM Ok ChrisD I have a question about how the scoring on this thing works. I question the results of the scoring for Las Vegas. I had Jimmie Johnson, Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Austin Dillon and scored just 33 points. The guy that scored 47 points had Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Austin Dillon. How was the difference between Brad and Kyle 13 points? By the way we both had Edwards and Ford as our bonus picks. I just don't understand it. RE: Nascar Fantasy Racing League - ChrisD - 03-12-2013 03:38 PM I don't set any of the scoring, that's all mandated by Nascar.com However, I can tell you how there is such a difference in your final points. You aren't rated based on JUST finish positions. Quote:Scoring Categories If you give me your team name and his team name I can explain it better for you. It's basically all the little things like Fastest Laps, Place Differential and such. Just to go over a few quick ones, I know Kyle Bush finished 9 positions ahead of his Qualifying position, that gives him an easy 9 points jump start and since Keselowski lost 2 spots from his starting spot, that gives him -2 points right there. Kyle led 20 some odd laps, Brad led only 12. Kyle had 57 quality passes, Brad only had 33. (Because Kyle came from the back of the pack twice at Vegas) There is so much to look at, not just those two guys. The scoring is really diverse and can get pretty confusing. While the finishing position definitely matters when you are picking, you need to look at those things too. Taking a guy that is on the pole seems like a great idea because he has a fast car, but if it doesn't convert to race time, you're also going to risk losing a lot of points if he falls down the running order. Passes are probably the best thing you can get on here. I know Brad had a lot of passes but Kyle had more. Just didn't think it would be enough to make up a 13 point difference in the final order. That's the only stat he had a big edge over me in. RE: Nascar Fantasy Racing League - ChrisD - 03-12-2013 08:49 PM Yeah, it will take a while to get used to the scoring, there's a lot. At the end of the day though, that's the best thing for a Nascar fantasy league because if it were based on just finishing position, it'd be too easy! |
