I'm sure he will. But I don't think the finger caused him to line up wrong, which he did a couple of times and let Vernon Davis run free - yes Nolan adjusted but the players didn't execute. But I could definitely see how it would affect tackling.

No more excuses.
We lost because of Vegas needed us to cover the spread but not win. The NFL is fixed. It's run by multinational corporations with bottom lines that need to be filled by the Super Bowl that was decided in August.

He hid the injury from the team. I would be pissed.
But that has nothing to do with the injuries. The worst thing the Falcons can have on defense is a guy running in the open field with DeCoud as the last man to beat. Might as well start the end zone dance because it's a no contest. DeCoud is one of the worst tacklers in the NFL.

Name a safety that consistently tackles a RB 10 yds downfield by himself. I see highlights every week of RBs making a living by abusing their advantage over safetys on long runs. The key is to not let a RB get free that deep.

I guess I'm the only one here that thinks Thomas DeCoud is one of the worst tacklers in the NFL. I've been alone in my opinions before so this is nothing new for me and quite frankly I don't give a rip anymore. Thomas DeCoud sucks at tackling. As simple as that.

The safety is the last line of defense against a team scoring whether it's a running play or a passing play. If you can't count on your safety to make a play what good is he?
