I could live with Kruger but I am not sure if we have the dominant interior defensive line presence or experience at middle linebacker that would allow him to have the same success here. If we were to get him and a stud DT in the draft or a solid vet maybe he could become a star here in Nolans scheme. Adalius Thomas was a huge bust for the Pat's, and Bart Scott runs his mouth more than he tackles. I guess I'm just a whole higher on Kruger than others here. I think he is an absolute beast. I don't think he is "only" good because he plays for the Ravens. The Ravens hadn't had a dominate defense in years. Good yes but no where near what they once were for the first half of the 2000s. I wouldn't say you're the only one that's high on him. I'd like to get him if we can afford it. I just don't wanna go breaking the bank on him. If we go 3-4, then he would be an ideal free agent, but if we don't, then he's kind of like a better version of Biermann. We just don't know how much better. We've really only seen this guy succeed in a 3-4 on the professional level. Routinely? You've got to support this opinion. He's had a pro-bowler opposite of him every year yet it seems he's just had a few games of greatness. Other times he's just a good player. I'm not knocking him, but to say he can be better by bringing in someone else in a 3-4 is a stretch. A LONG stretch. I believe he is being used to his abilities currently. |
