On offense, we need a star RG and a replacement RB and TE. Of course, we will not replace Tony Gonzalez, but we can add a good, solid TE. We will certainly draft an upgrade to Turner. I respect what he has done, but he is past his prime. As far as the RG goes, we can go with a free agent or spend a high draft pick on a very good prospect.

On defense, we need a very strong NT to free up the LB's to make plays. We can find such a NT in the third round of this draft.

This game is tough. Very tough. Winners never quit. I believe in this team. They will overcome.

You're dead on on O, but we also need a legit 3rd reciever (in case of injury, and just to have a guy who'll beat the LBs he's manned up on. Nowhere near the calibre of Jones and White, but just a solid inisde/outside receiver. That way the TE and 3rd WR and versatile back can take advantage of the coverages on Julio/Roddy.

D is trickier, which is why it's so imperative to get those offense guys (and they're all inexpensive/3rd round type talent needed).

D we need a DE, and push DT, and a real MLB.

We can get most of that in FA and the draft.

If you assume you get a top tier RG in FA, and a decent 3rd WR/TE you can take DE, DT, RB, WR in the draft in the first 4 rounds depending on who drops. You should get tons of production that way.

We're going to have to do a very good job with midtier FAs at cheap postions (TE, RB, 3rd WR, MLB) to really step up next year.
