I don't think we digress next year, but we better find a way to fix the defense. I've already said it in a few other places, but I'd bet we let Nolan have a huge say in who we draft on defense, I bet he gets to pick the personell he wants.

I dont see a 13-3 season ..1 seed again ..
I'm not even sure there has been a NFL team that has not made the Super Bowl as a 1 seed in a time span of 3 seasons ...

well I'm not gonna argue the 'more questions than answers' point of view right now, but also thinking right now after losing that game is not the time to be thinking it either.
yeah the taints and possibly the panties will improve next year, heck even the sucs could be better. I don't see us dropping completely out of contention next year. I'm going to say that 4 of the six playoff teams next year in the NFC will come from the NFCW and NFCS. Niners and Hawks, Falcons and Taints

Tony will be replaced by a WR. I expect Koetter to employ more four-WR sets. To do that, we will need to improve the OL. This is nothing new.
Abe has not been an elite pass rusher this season. He is still very good, but he is not the dominant player that he once was. Nolan will find a NT to move towards more 3-4 sets. Once that happens, our athletlic LB's will make plays. Remember what Nolan said, at the beginning of the season, he wants five guys with five sacks.
We will draft a replacement for Turner. Thank you to MT, he was a terrific Falcon.
The Niners are not great. They will have their problems next season. I would not worry about any other team. We need to worry about ourselves.
I am optimistic. You should be too.

The read option can be stopped we just didn't have the personnel. The defense will get younger and faster.
