But I thought Vilma had facts and proof to back up his claims that he was done wrong by Goodell?

That means he can appeal the Judge's decision to dismiss the case to the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. It will then take months, if not close to a year before they decide the limited issue of whether the District Court Judge abused her discretion by dismissing the case. If they rule that she did not, case over. If they rule that she did, they remand it to her and the case goes. Minimum year and a half from now before that point, unless the NFL magic keeps on fast tracking this case over other more deserving cases on the docket.

Vilma doesn't get to file this thing in the US Supreme Court and have an episode of law and order. I really think you fail to realize how boring and totally non-glamorous federal litigation is, especially at the appellate level.

Exactly drake! Vilma will be a grandpa before he proves his case against Goodell who is backed by 32 billionaire owners, including Benson. Benson will not win his case against the other 31 owners, even if he is even trying.

After all, Vilma is a quickly depreciating asset.

Who's Vilma?

Oh yea... defamation... I forgot to care.

So, who here thinks Vilma will not have a job next year?
