dude was over hyped like a motherfucker by the media, at least he got something out of it. Though, after this and the embarrassing performance against Alabama his draft stock isn't looking so pretty.

He did it to muster Heisman votes.....watch game tape....he is good...but WAY WAY overhyped......I would rather have that quiet leader.....we have plenty of mouths on the team (and luckily most control themselves and don't say stupid shit and make guarantees....and give other teams bulletin board material)...we need to add high motor quick elusive and versatile guys to our defense (IE a tuggle, kearny, s. Case......even a ST type like Coy Wire....) I wouldn't touch this kid with a 10 foot pole.....integrity and maturity go a long way in my book!

He was duped. This is not that uncommon. As for his draft status, it won't have any affect whatsoever.

Have to agree. I mean even the school officials have his back. A place like Notre dame would've distanced themselves from him. He seems like a good guy, besides he wrote that letter to a dying kid and referenced his loss in it. Did he display bad judgement? Yes! But he didn't make this up, the girl who faked it called HIM trying to "get back together" he told the school. The dude is a good guy and innocent.

Notre Dame also hired an independent private investigation firm that confirmed that it was a complicated hoax that T'eo had fallen for. I doubt that ND would lie about that.
