The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have waived linebacker Spencer Adkins, linebacker Rico Council, wide receiver Drew Davis, cornerback Dominique Franks, tackle Bryce Harris, linebacker Jerrell Harris, center Tyler Horn, wide receiver Marcus Jackson, cornerback Marty Markett, running back Dimitri Nance, defensive tackle Conrad Obi, defensive tackle Micanor Regis, wide receiver James Rodgers, linebacker Pat Schiller, cornerback Peyton Thompson, and safety Suaesi Tuimaunei. Atlanta has reached injury settlements with tight end Lamark Brown and guard Andrew Jackson. The Falcons have also waived-injured wide receiver Kerry Meier

Umm, your quoted info is crap. Dominique Franks was waived? I guess we all just imagined him catching 21 punts this year then? Same for the 4 passes for 40 yards that Drew Davis caught? Or James Rodgers being on the PS? Or Pat Schiller sitting behind D-Block with sunglasses on?

I mean according to you, none of them are on the team.

Listen fucktard, if you're going to try to refute something I said with asstastically incorrect supporting quotes like this, maybe you should ask for someone with a brain to fact check it for you first.

Thank you, drive through.

Dominique Franks, a somewhat surprising cut by the Atlanta Falcons last week, is back with the team.

The Falcons just announced they have re-signed Franks, a cornerback and punt returner and waived/injured wide receiver Tim Toone.

Franks had a strong preseason as a punt returner and appeared to have won that job. He also seemed to be in the competition for the fourth cornerback job with Christopher Owens. But, once Owens got healthy, it became obvious that the Falcons believe his cover skills are better than Franks’. They released Franks last Friday and planned to go with receiver Harry Douglas as their punt returner.

Also Davis was put on waivers and then resigned as well. Sucks Falcon fans don't know this

Wide receiver Drew Davis and offensive tackle Bryce Harris have cleared waivers and are expected to be signed and added to the Falcons practice squad later today. We’ll update the file as hear the players and their representatives.

The Falcons are still evaluating wide receiver James Rodgers, linebackers Jerrell Harris and Rico Council.

Davis nearly earned a spot on the 53-man roster.

Behind Roddy White, Julio Jones and Harry Douglas, Davis was battling Kevin Cone, Tim Toone and Kerry Meier for the final spots. The team elected to carry five wide receivers.

Meier was waived/injured and Davis was placed on waivers.

That was at the start of the season no?

Franks was readded days after being cut. Because Toone got injured who is now on the PS... Or active roster I can't remember. Rodgers was a PS guy. Davis must have been activated from PS early has he did have that TD catch against Philly as well as get time when Jones was banged up.

I thin, he is a player who could stick around though. He needs to work hard though. Outside of Roddy and Julil I'm not sure what the work ethic of our receivers is. Kerry worked very hard and where it not for his injuries he would be a solid contributor. I would prefer to him the slot to Harry. Why? Because despite not being as fast the guy has great field awareness, body control and knows how to get separation where he can't make it off if speed and acceleration alone. I often feel if it was possible I think Meier should have bulked up to around 240 maybe 250 and played as a Tight End. His run blocking was good only question would have been if he would lose too much speed as a result. he was a 4.50 receiver.

Spotrac still shows Meier as an active roster member, with an active contract and 2013 cap hit.

And this post (via the Atlanta Falcons) shows Meier as a current roster member participating in an NFL continuing education program this off-season

Looks like your claims to know every roster member are as incorrect as your usual logic, Swift.

rotoworld

Falcons waived/injured WR Kerry Meier.
So much for Meier's grip on the No. 4 wideout gig. Kevin Cone is the front-runner for the gig as Drew Davis was also cut Friday. Fri, Aug 31, 2012 06:11:00 PM

http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nfl/5934/kerry-meier

Kerry Meier was waived INJURED. he was never brought back to the ATLANTA FALCONS .. The Falcons right now have the rights to Kerry Meier long as a injury settlement was never reached.

March 12 2013 Kerry Meier is officially off the Falcons cap since he was WAIVED. that would be start of a new NFL YEAR

RE: We really do need a strong and full draft this year. - Beef - 02-22-2013 12:01 PM

This is retarded.

We quote current material and he continues to quote the same freaking old paragraph and old roto shit from August.

Go to the official Falcons site dude and Meier is listed on it. It doesn't get any more official than that. For once can you just suck it up and admit something rather than spinning to try to save face? You have no credibility to save here anyways. You're the court jester of this place. Good for nothing more than someone to laugh at and SMH.
