My dad without a doubt... took me to see GreenBay vs. Atlanta in 67...
We couldn't afford season tickets growing up so we'd drive to Macon, GA for home games that didn't sell out....
They weren't blacked out there.
TV, Fulton County Stadium etc... we never missed a game!
Lost him in 2000 and he sure would have loved this team!
I know he's in a far better place where the things of this world don't matter but until we can be together again they matter here!

Why I am a Falcons fan, I'm like you GA boy, I'm 43 was born at Piedmont Hospital in downtown Atlanta and from the time that I was 10, I was a Falcons fan from that point onward. Live in Sandy Springs, but I have seen them when we had Bartkowski and had the championship game and Dallas stole it. I haven't seen it as long as you, but I have seen a good bit. Bartkowski, Bobby Hebehr, Archer, Vick, Ryan and a slew of bad QBs. But I will be a Atlanta Falcons fan till I die.

I am a glutton for punishment apparently.
When I was a kid it was those bright red helmets that reflected the glow of stadium lights. Fucking loved it. Still do. Until then internet and I was able to talk to all of you I was the only Falcon fan I ever knew.

In 6th grade we had to draw from a hat..that was the 1980 season....a year they had a hail mary to beat the 49ers.....a magical season that could have been better had Dallas not beat us......I fell in love...the rest is history...I want this superbowl badly!

My dad influenced me as well, I was 11 years old when me and him watched the NFC championship game against the Vikings. From that point on I've been with them ever since and haven't looked back. This franchise means soooo much to me.

I'm 25 (turn 26 in March). Was born into a family of Braves fans from Florida who were also Dolphins fans. But I picked the Falcons because I loved those uniforms of the 90s and they were Atlanta's pro football team and they had Deion Sanders who also played for the Braves.

Even though he hasn't been a Falcon for long, I rolled a tear when the emotion hit Tony Gonzalez. Maybe it was for the win. Maybe the pressure wasn't on him or Smitty or Ryan. It was on all of is. It feels great.
