People don't get us. They think we are some kind of sasquatch or niche group. Do we exist? My son wore his Matt Ryan jersey to his 1st grade pee wee football banquet. One of the other dads asks me "Do you just pick out random jerseys or something?"
"What do you mean," I ask.
"Well why would he be wearing a Matt Ryan jersey? Are you Falcons fans or something?"
That guy is a cowboys fan...
No matter what happens on Sunday its been a great ride these last five years.
We've earned it.

Just read that whole thing, so awesome. I think of all the marvelous fan stories I've read over the years, From Tandy to Peyton to Lindsey to Falcon's Fan since 66. I'll be thinking about you all on Sunday.

I sat through a long Boston Red Sox drought, during the same time I've sat through this long Atlanta Falcons drought. Or permanent Falcons drubbing we call the media? Let me just say fellas, when we finally get the monkey off our back and win a playoff game, I think things will be sweet. This IS our time. This IS our weekend. I hope our players KNOW this, and they TAKE the win from the Seahawks.
It's a hard thing watching all these failures, but we can always count on our Falcons to be there every sunday - win or loss - putting on a show for us. We're going to win one, real soon. This year sounds real damn good!
