RE: This next week were going to hear so much Shit, how Seattle this and that - RnB - 01-07-2013 03:39 PM Fuck em, and Fuck the Seahawks too. If you look at the teams, both our offensive strengths even out with a slight advantage to us; our passing game vs. their passing defense is definitely an edge to us, their running game vs. our run defense, which has shown it can shut down good RBs, is a wash, IMHO. Defensively, a rook QB even as good as Wilson (he is very good) is over-matched by our defense in the passing game, while our running game has shown it can put up yardage against softer looks and is supplemented mightily by our screen game. Both of us have very good scoring defenses. We are going to come out and show the Seahawks why they are number two in their division and squeaked into the playoffs on a weak back-end schedule. They are not ready for the Dome and a Falcons team that is motivated to make a statement. I expect us to move the ball in our first few possessions, hold them to field goals, and have a two score lead going into the half. Once they get down and are forced to make Wilson bring them back, he will start making errors and we will seal the deal with a turnover or two. RE: This next week were going to hear so much Shit, how Seattle this and that - AUTiger7222 - 01-07-2013 04:02 PM I have never felt more confident about a Falcons game in my life. The Falcons will beat the Seahawks and it won't even be close. I'm thinking somewhere in the 31-13 score range. RE: This next week were going to hear so much Shit, how Seattle this and that - RFlagg - 01-07-2013 04:44 PM Just looked this up and thought it was interesting. The Seahawks played 4 games this year that started at 1pm ET. @ St. Louis - Loss @ Detroit - Loss @ Miami - Loss @ Chicago - OT Win No saying it's a gauranteed win, but this season has shown they have trouble with the early game on the road. But does anyone know if they went back home and are gonna do another cross country trip or are they staying on the east coast this week? Just checked the official Seahawks Twitter, they did fly back to Seattle. This definitely bodes well. The media is currently building up excuses for when we win. Add this one to the list... That may have been a horrible decision. It's not easy to rest properly on a plane. They are basically spending 12 hours on a plane in one week time. That takes a toll. The players need time with their families in their homes to unwind. I think it was clearly the right decision. RE: This next week were going to hear so much Shit, how Seattle this and that - Swift Is a Die Hard - 01-07-2013 06:36 PM There should be no excuse why the Falcons dont win this game. If we lose we got a bigger issue on our hand . Seattle has to fly to the east coast twice in two weeks. They have a rookie QB . If Falcons cant beat the Seahawks and fall to 0-4 under this regimen there are bigger issues at hand and a reboot of this franchise would be needed. All pressure is on us though , were about to see what this team is made of or we were frauds media has made us out to be RE: This next week were going to hear so much Shit, how Seattle this and that - RockHoward - 01-07-2013 06:40 PM (01-07-2013 06:08 PM)ATLBound Wrote: This definitely bodes well.
