Im expecting this aswell. TG to blast the hawks of the field next week Cool

Time for Washington to reseed and sod that mess they call a football field. They will end up losing morris and Rg3 to a myriad of knee injuries over the years if they don't.

This.

It is an embarrassment that Washington tries to pass this off as a field. AP was lost to it, and now RG3 may never be the same. The NFL ought to step in and force Washington to do something, because losing their stars to that quagmire of a mud-pit is not acceptable.

Same should be done in Chicago, or even just move to FieldTurf. Some cities just don't have the weather to support nice green fields.

The only thing that worries me is that we perform better against better qbs.

I think that this was a regular season thing because we would pull out all the stops against tougher opponents, but in the playoffs it's one and done and the coaches and players know this. So I'm expecting everybody associated with the defense to treat every game as if it was Peyton, Eli, or Brees.

All things point to a close game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was much easier than many expected.

Already hearing the shit this week. Was watching NFL Network this morning and they got to the Seahawks vs Falcons. Oh man. The two guys who are always on the show were very real saying it would be a tough game for BOTH teams. The third guy (I didn't catch who it was) said that the Falcons had NO CHANCE against the Seahawks and that their defense would suffocate our offense.

The other two guys just looked at him like he was a moron. He said our defense wasn't very good either. Completely wrong about that.

Our defensive stats are very deceiving. We won 13 games with our "lousy" defense.

I think we match up well except for one important thing. The seahawks have a rookie QB who has never played a game at this level before. They didn't win because Wilson had a great game. They won because Washington had a terrible game. Despite all seattle's rushing yards the Skins were still winning the game until the 4th quarter and their QB left with the knee injury.

Protect Ryan and force Wilson to win that game and our chances are pretty good.

When was the last No. 1 seed to be as disrespected as the Falcons, who also beat the other No 1 seed? Anybody?

Bill Barnwell, my least favorite sports writer of all time (who infuriatingly writes 95% of the NFL articles for my favorite sports site of all time, Grantland), already took his little pot shot at the Falcons in his column this morning. He talked about a play Seattle ran yesterday, Wilson turned a read option into basically a draw play with Lynch as his lead blocker, and said that kind of play would do well against our 20th ranked run defense.

Asshole.

One of the New England podcasters last week said that the Vikings had no chance to win their wildcard game and the Falcons would win their first playoff game, but the Seahawks were going to be in the Super Bowl. What an idiot! I guess he had no clue how the playoffs actually work but someone still pays him money to flap his lips on the radio about football. Geez.
