The 2012 Atlanta Falcons the only team in NFL history to lose just three games in a season and be penalized heavily for each loss.

Also whomever said hey would trade AP for Rodgers is nuts. AP is about to hit a huge downslide. He probably wont hit a thousand yards again and be retired in three years. Look at the history any back in recent times who has a year like he just had never comes close again. Rodgers has at least 7 more great years in him.

Peterson is great but except for this year seems like he had a bad fumbling problem. I could be wrong but it seems like every time I would watch him he would fumble at the worst time.

But even if they are of equal value I'll take the QB over the RB every time.

So I was curious for all of y'alls take on the top 10 players left in the postseason and who, if any, Falcons are on that list. I have a hard time having AJ Green on that list and Ryan not.

Anything those shitheads say I don't give a shit, their all homers, for the pats, cowgurls, jets, Giants, broncos. and of course packers. You don't earn respect. you TAKE respect. Tongue

A guy in recovery in New York who would dispute that a fellow by the name of Peterson and a guy in Chicago who would all place higher than him.

If we do get the Hawks. I know at some point his ass is gonna get burned by either both Julio and Roddy or one of them.

Why Roddy is a former state wrestling champion x2 he's used that throughs his career and also he is a savvy veteran who often beats deep coverage not with pure speed but the savvy to vary his route running and set you up to get scorched eg Chris Houston.

Julio, do you let him catch it in front of you because if he does and he makes you miss Sherman isn't fast enough to run that guy down. But on the flipside of that Sherman is a physical guy who will want to get into that chest and lock you up. Julio showed what happens when you miss that contact and he gets around you. Nnamdi got scorched on a deep ball and he didn't stand chance at the line after Julio got into that shoulder. A guy like Roddy slightly slower with less explosion in a situation like that Sherman might have the chance to get on that hip and bat down or pick off the pass if it isn't in the right place. But Matt has shown tremendous deep ball touch. And if a situation like that happens with Julio that ball is getting thrown for Julio to run onto in stride and keep going. Sherman isn't all that fluid and those corners will have a hard time dealing with a receiving group that can attack you on all levels of the field. It's a lot of work because our route tree unlike previous years goes all over the field. I don't think Seattle has come up against a group of receivers like this before in this season. Two true number ones. A tight end who could be a number one receiver in another teams offense. That's basically three franchise calibre targets. Plus a good supporting cast. That's a lot of work for a team to handle so that pass rush has to be the key for them. And I think that strength for them if we get our rhythm going early is going to be their undoing.

If we get up 14 on them. I think that pass rush will intensify and become too aggressive. They might get to Matt but I think we will burn then with the screen. Not to the house so much as for a big play that is going to make them dial it back again. We went through this in Detroit. They were all out blitzing and Koetter refused to go Max protect. Matt stood in there took a hit but let one go and it straight away backed the defense off. Their pressure died off after that.

The way we have played against elite competition this year in the most pivotal of moments. In those so called statement games in those games where we'll finally be exposed leaves me with the confidence. Not cockiness that this team runs so deep in so many facets of football that I just feel they genuinely have the best of both worlds for match ups in the playoffs. Shit if we kept Tony next year and have a more creative lead back and sounder run blocking we really would be the offense I think we should be. Consistent explosive passing, consistent run game. It doesn't need to be explosive. Just give me 4 yards or 3.5 consistently not . . Boom . . Bust and this offense keeps ticking over.

Keep Nolan and get a more disruptive pass rush from the front 4 and that secondary will look even better.

This is the best falcons team I have had the pleasure to watch. Last years team was a step backwards and this year has surpassed 2010 2013 falcons needs to be the sum of both 2010 and 2012, that is what an NFL offense should look like to me.

I don't think Grimes is anywhere near as good as Sherman. Hell, Brandon Browner may even be a better option than Grimes. They are closely similar in coverage abilities but they have the size of an NFL wide receiver so they can go to battle with them. That's why they are better. They get burned from time to time like any other NFL corners, but they have both been top 10, maybe top 5 options in the NFL this year.

Falcons/Seahawks will provide a great matchup to show what both teams can do, but I think that we should be real worried about facing them. Let's be honest, while we can all hold out hope that the Falcons come out and dominate in the playoffs, they haven't exactly looked too great on offense the 2nd half of the season (Other than the Giants game) and that should worry everyone.

It's nearly pathetic when I'm more concerned about the offense in Atlanta than I am with our defense.

I think both Sherman and browner are over rated dude. And our offense has sputtered on a few occassions but have mostly been on. 1st Tampa game 1st and 2nd saints games they were on. Giants Lions.

I've watched a lot if the Hawks games. Living in the UK I have the NFL game pass so I watch all the games. They have not been up against 2 receivers like Roddy and Julio a solid a tight end like Gonzo and good 4 like Harry all in the same offense with as vast a scheme as ours. It's gonna be a battle. But they will not have been put under that kind of pressure.

I'm really not impressed with them. They are two guys I see panning out as more flash than substance in the long run.

Whether they are flash or substance in the long run, it doesn't matter if we play them this post-season. Now is what matters. And no one has been able to formulate any type of attack on them. I think the Lions were the biggest passing game against the Seahawks of the season. And it's not just this year. Last year Browner and Sherman really shined as well. They weren't talked about so much though because the Seahawks just weren't very good.

I hope Ryan wins SuperBowl MVP, and rubs it in everyone's face that he did not make the top 100 players list. QB of the #1 seed not top 10 left in the playoffs? These guys are so biased, Ryan could save them from downing and they would complain he took to long.

You know who is about to start getting the Matt Ryan treatment? Andy Dalton. The Bengals have just now had back to back winning seasons for the first time in FOREVER and people are now saying Dalton isn't good enough. I'm not saying the guys great or anything but goodness. Cut him some slack. The Texans defense is as good a defense as there is. And it's his second year!!! Some people on different sites are saying that they should get rid of him. The media is truly insane.
