From 1996-2011 every year there were at least 5 new playoff teams that didn't make it the year before. That's not going to happen this year. The most that can happen is 4.

are you sure? there's already 4 from last year eliminated, NO, Pitt, NYJ, Det, right? and the giants could still be eliminated next week if they lose......
ok never mind, after wondering about it, I looked it up, the jets didn't make the playoffs last year
