I agree but I'm not making excuses. We lost fair and square. No bad calls from the ref that overturned the game. Our offense just didn't come to play and our defense couldn't hold up after a strong start.

That just doesn't happen to be the approach that I take.
There may not be excuses, but there are always reasons. Can you honestly say that Seattle that year would have still beaten the Saints in New Orleans? Six of their nine loses came on the road. They were clearly a Jeckell and Hyde team.
That said, it is still a bad rule.

That means they only won 5 games at home. They lost 3 games at home. They weren't juggernauts at home. It's possible they could have beat y'all at the SuperDome. Y'all didn't have answer for Hasselback or Lynch. That's a bad combination to have trouble with the QB and the RB.

Matter of fact....you should be mad at Roman Harper. He may have had the worst game of his life if I recall correctly.

They won because you guys sucked and got trounced by the worst playoff team in league history. Must suck to be the team that lost to a 7-9 team in the playoffs. At least when we lose in the playoffs that team goes to the Superbowl or wins it.
