RE: Atlanta Falcons Superbowl Fraud - FullMetalFalcon23 - 12-12-2012 11:05 AM I really want to see us skull fuck the Giants. It makes no sense that our confidence should be low after the way we won against New Orleans, I get the feeling this game was played down. Not the importance of it but the emotion because that was not the same fired up team we saw. Personally watching the way we have played in the big games in our schedule and those games that are big for us. Im not worried about this team not rising to the occasion we've won all our prime time games this year. We have had wins in the grudge match type games. In the New Orleans lost we were in it till the end and in the Carolina game we just seemed disinterested. Its clear we are a team that folks do not want us to succeed. There is a lot of hate for Atlanta, almost seems like the Franchise is paying for Vick's fuck up. He hasnt been treated with as much disdain since his supposed rebirth, criticised challenged to up his game but not tied to the bumper and dragged over rubble. That's why I dont give a shit about our team being accountable other than their god damn selves, when even their own fans when they are having a winnig season *AGAIN* are bagging on them and putting them down before they even get a chance to prove themselves in the post season despite making it to the post season for certain how can we expect them to rely on anyone but their god damn selves... Typical. Exactly. Not like anyone has done much with the teams we've lost to either (11-1 combined record in the playoffs). With that said, it's time for this team to take the next step.. RE: Atlanta Falcons Superbowl Fraud - ChrisD - 12-12-2012 12:37 PM I feel like we've played differently in those big games. I mean, just look at how our defense looked in those games. They were fluid, making plays. In the games that weren't "big games" they weren't. Look at the game against Peyton Manning, and even the Saints a couple weeks ago. Nolan was having our guys moving all over the field before the snap and letting them get their game on. The same thing goes with our offense. Just a small part of me is wondering if the whole "We're saving something for the playoffs" deal could be true. Who knows. We should soon though. The same thing goes with our offense. I tend to agree with the saving something idea. There's such a stark contrast between the "big" games and the rest, specifically with our defense. Our offense will remain inconsistent until Turner returns to form or gets benched. It's too predictable to have him on the field and him not be able to get production. It kills our offense. And then it's somewhere between 2nd and 9 or 2nd and 12. Any offense will struggle sometimes with that. RE: Atlanta Falcons Superbowl Fraud - phocis850 - 12-12-2012 01:08 PM I'm just curious where our Offense went. Has anyone called and asked? Our recent 3 and outs are DISGUSTING. RE: Atlanta Falcons Superbowl Fraud - RnB - 12-12-2012 01:16 PM I'm with you FullMetal. If there is anything that makes me laugh more than sports media being profit driven and marginalizing teams based on marketing, its reading ridiculous shit by people who aren't even paid to do it; in a lot of cases they call themselves "fans". We have always seen chicken littles come out of the woodwork, even after good games. We have always seen articles (usually the only Falcons article to be found on their front page) on NFL.com trying to smack around our franchise. Luckily, the only people that matter are employed by the Atlanta Falcons. It's easy to see how the unwashed masses could get worried about things, if you are getting your opinions from negative douche bags and paid shills.
Re: Atlanta Falcons Superbowl Fraud - juraitwaluzka - 12-12-2012 01:44 PM The funny thing to me is to imagine if the players and coaches shared the negative outlook and panic that some of the fans do. It's obvious they don't because if they did they would more likely be closer to 2-11 than 11-2. So if you feel the need to panic and worry rest assured that you are thinking completely differently than the actual team does. RE: Atlanta Falcons Superbowl Fraud - Jesus - 12-12-2012 05:59 PM I forwarded this to Mike Smith and he agreed. The team is frauds and he will be happy to close up shop and skip the playoffs. He also said that the NFL has decided to give the trophy to the Patriots just because. |
