Greg Hardy: Carolina Panthers better than Atlanta Falcons

Records don't matter much to Greg Hardy, a man who sees the 2012 season through a different lens than the rest of us.

The Panthers pass rusher told Steve Reed of The Associated Press that his 3-9 Carolina squad is a superior product to the 11-1 Atlanta Falcons.
Again: 3-9 Panthers > 11-1 Falcons.
There must be more to this and we're anxiously standing by to hear Mr. Hardy's scientific reasoning. He was given a chance to clarify his remarks, but issued no revisions and told The Charlotte Observer he simply doesn't like the team "down the street."
Hardy has certainly thought this through, but we're less certain the Falcons will comply with his fever-dream hypothesis when these teams meet on Sunday in Carolina.
Come Sunday Matt Ryan will be telling them to get the Fuck off his field again.

We have a room-service order for Atlanta coach Mike Smith.
I’m sure he’ll want to make sure this is hung in every locker of the team’s practice facility as soon as possible.
Carolina defensive end Greg Hardy said Wednesday the Panthers are a better team than the Falcons. Seriously.
“There's a point where you know you're better than someone. We just didn't pull it out,” Hardy said in reference to a close loss to Atlanta early in the season.
Um, yeah, that was a close game. But the Falcons are 11-1 and the Panthers are 3-9. The records don’t seem to be a big deal to Hardy.
“I'm trying to mess up their whole playoff experience. I want them to go home sick in the stomach, mad about life, a couple depression issues, all types of things,” Hardy said. “It's going to be a long day from my point of view. I'm coming.”
And when our offense lights them up he will look like an even bigger ass. Lets go FALCONS!!!!

I can't say that as a Saints fan that I can't admire his passion.

If I were Hardy, then I would take the time to focus on a season where we, as a defense, constantly give up 4th quarter leads to opposing teams, including the Falcons.
A more passionate statement would focus on his team and their lack of clutch when its needed most. Not belittle the team that took advantage of their lack of clutchness.

Oh and I wonder why Matt was fired up Hardy you Doosh? Could it be because of the ridiculous antics of YOUR QB when you hadn't even won the game?!?!?
