Yeah because Bourn is such a great leadoff hitter. Top 10 in the NL in strikeouts for a leadoff hitter. Wow. 2nd half average of .220 or there abouts. I'm so happy Bourn isn't coming back. I'm thrilled to have B.J. Upton. I really think we've yet to see the best of him. He's going to have more lineup protection this season than he's ever had with the Rays. RE: Braves Land B.J. Upton - AUTiger7222 - 11-30-2012 02:00 PM I'll just post it in this trade but the Braves traded Tommy Hanson to the Angels for Jordan Walden. This is a great trade for the Braves. We dump Hanson and his salary and get another dominate bullpen arm. Great trade by Wren! RE: Braves Land B.J. Upton - AsylumGuido - 11-30-2012 06:33 PM It is going to be so strange not seeing Chipper out there. It seems like just a couple of years ago when he was a rookie. Damn time begins to fly when you get old.

But it will when I see a Braves team out there next March without #10. |
