Im not one to jump on the "Bring him home TD" but we really need another pass rusher I say sign Babin release Sidbury since it seems he will never play anyway. Then keep Babin Inactive for a couple weeks to let him learn the playbook then unleash him in the playoffs....also what is the waiver wire day wednesday?

I honestly think they are just starting to bring that cap down, especially with the inevitable firing of the whole coaching staff. Which means no more wide 9

Babin has had a nice career, but he did not look special when we played the Eagles.

i doubt if we get him though, not sure where we are on the waiver list, but because of our record we should be pretty low on the list, if not last.

Seattle put in a claim apparently. Only way we would even entertain signing him is if he got through waivers. He is still owed 17M.

if they didn't I still don't expect him to clear waivers...apparently he is only owed 1.64 mil for the remainder of the year and you could away cut him or renegotiate if you liked what you saw.....I think he would be nice to have in the locker room and he could still be a force playing for a winner.....that said...I have also heard the Ravens are looking to claim him...

Babin was certainly having a year that wasn't too good, and he did have two really good seasons back to back. However, all reports right now are reading and saying that they didn't release him because of the lack of production in his performance. Fox Sports Radio and ESPN is reporting right now that they released him because of issues in the locker room that were emerging after the terrible start for the team along with his humungous contract when they are stacked at DL depth already.
