Notwithstanding a few long-winded sidebars, this has to be the best football article I have read all year. Pat Schiller is some dude!

Even if Schiller doesn't make it, his uncle Charles Seibert has boosted his writing career enormously in my estimation.

That is what I call writing. It is a shame that the South does not have anything close to the NYT or the WSJ. The AJC is a simple wash rag, by comparison.
