Arizona had a net of 41 passing yards for the whole day......I would say the defense despite some terrible run coverage and them breaking a few big ones.....that is a pretty significant number for holding a primarily passing team to 41 yards......
Definitely a positive and we are STILL the only team the Larry Fitzgerald doesn't have a receiving touchdown against......
Lousy way to do it...but still a W!!!!!!!!!!

Our defense played solid, but you are making it sound like they did a great job yesterday. It was more the fact that Arizona doesn't have a QB on the roster that could hit the broad side of a barn.

yet they have still averaged over 200 yards per game, despite all their changes this year....I am not saying we did great...I am saying the defense was stouter than the score makes it look because of short fields....

It just pisses me off that people keep downgrading what the Falcons defense did yesterday.

Anyone with a brain knows that the defense won us that game and performed "better" than higher rated defenses did against the same team, while simultaneously having the added pressure of defending short fields, repeatedly.
They deserve all the praise in the world from us. Downplaying it is simply people's way of justifying their negative opinions about the Falcons. Fan or media; they WANT to be able to justify why they doubt our team and usually seize even the slightest opportunity to do so.
