He ran a 4.63 split similar to chandler jones ... Massaquoi also had the 4th longest wingspan in that DE draft class

OK, but can he play? Ray Edwards is a physical specimen, but he turned out to be mediocre.

The young guns will get their opportunities. Although I like Sidbury and Massaquoi, I think that Matthews will eventually turn out to be the best of the bunch. I have no insider information. I am just going on the gut feeling that Matthews has the most aggressive attitude.

The best thing about the Edwards release is that our young talents will get more chances to prove themselves. By the end of the season, we will know whether we have to draft a pass rusher in the first round.

Listen to massaquoi's sack numbers over a 2 year period. One massive year one average year in which weight and scheme tripped him up. Smith andNolan got him back to that weight and you Nolan will have him rushing. I think Mass is gonna be a pleasant surprise.

Quote:“He’s very talented and very raw,” Nolan said. “He has a lot to learn, but is very talented. He’s very explosive and will flash often. Sometimes doing his job; sometimes not. I think we are all excited about the potential that he has. He’ll just have to continue to mature, but he’s a good prospect.”

He is talented and will be a great one in the years to come if he keeps it up like that!

There is no doubt in my mind... he will be better than JA98.

RE: Jonathan Massaquoi - phocis850 - 11-19-2012 09:26 AM

Much talk about if we would see him. Did anyone see him?

RE: Jonathan Massaquoi - ATL FlyBoi - 11-19-2012 11:23 AM

NOOOO!!! Don't dig up JA98 - let him Rest in Peace!!! : )

It was good to see Matthew getting some snaps Sunday. The potential for these young guys pretty high, lets see if they can reach it.

I didn't see anyone but Abraham and Kroy.
