Need someone who can do punt return it time to sit frank becauce we are getting nothing out of the spot. And time to bench MT and try the other back on the roster.

It seems obvious that we are content with our PR not being a playmaker and just playing it safe. Why you ask? Because we put HD back there on that punt returns instead of Franks. HD is more of a playmaker and Smith and Armstrong know that and were hoping for a big return and short field for the offense. I think this is so stupid unless HD is some fumble machine on PRs out there on the practice field. A good punt return can deflate another team and make the offense's job easier.

Smith seems all about the TO's on special teams. They kick kickoffs to be returned, risking a big one, hoping to knock a ball loose (seems smart, nothing really to lose trying so long as you tackle well), and seem to want no returns on our kickoff receptions (always taking the 20, risking nothing). It seems to be what they want, so the fact we always fair catch a punt fits right into what I've seen coach want. I don't think it is our returner, but our philosophy.
