I'm really not upset that we lost. I'm pissed off that we lost to the Saints. Of all the teams to lose to it has to be the Saints. I'm sick and tired of all these close losses to the Saints.
2008 - Loss 25-29
2009 - Loss 27-35
2009 - Loss 23-26
2010 - Loss 14-17
2011 - Loss 23-26
2012 - Loss 27-31
What are we doing wrong? Why can't we beat the Saints?

Couldn't tell you but I'll tell you this. I'd trade getting swept by the Saints for the next 5 years if it meant at least 1 Super Bowl.
Still believe we'll take care of business in the Dome in 18 days especially if we have Spoon back. I'll get more joy out of winning @ home and putting a final nail in the coffin that is the Saints playoff hopes.

They threw it all at us tonight. When we play again in 18 days spoon will be back. And so too will be sproles. However Nich And the backs can cover him. Leave Graham to Spoon. Schematically that allows us to do more. Julio will get healthy, although he was out there playing and making plays. We need the Defense to step up. They looked raggedy out there and I personally think not having spoon to keep them on beat hurt there performance the last 2 weeks.
Overall this was the sort of loss that I prefer ultimately.

Same here; I still feel the same about our team as I did before this game. It sucks that the Saints just seem to have our number, but I still think we have a better franchise. The Saints REALLY played a good game today and we did a few things poorly. They won, but just by the skin of their teeth (as usual). One loss isn't going to shake my confidence in my team, especially with the way we have been playing the past few years.
We have a chance in a few weeks to play them again. Hopefully we continue kicking ass and taking names until then. It would be silly to think that our coaches and players won't learn something from this loss and carry it forward.

What really Sucks is 1.We lose to the Taints. 2. now they are back in the playoff hunt

3. The Saints are not back in the playoff hunt. Losing 1 game could end their hopes. 10-6 minimum this year. 9-7 sure as hell will not cut it.

4. 1 loss puts them to 4-6 and with Katrina refs I will never count them out until they are officially at 0% chance

Yeah. The Saints are not back in the playoff hunt. They are still 9th in the NFC standings.

This part describes how every fan is feeling right now. Such a punch to the gut. We'll get our revenge soon when everyone is healthy again.
