The Madden Curse is Alive and Well! - RFlagg - 10-29-2012 02:12 PM So far this season, here are Calvin Johnson's stats: 41 catches, 638 yards, 1 TD. Versus last year after 7 games: 41 catches, 679 yards, 10 TDs. And then there's this. Quote:Sore knee hinders Calvin Johnson vs. Seattle Seahawks And don't forget Newton, who came in 2nd. 2011: 152/252, 2,103 yards, 8 TDs, 9 INTs, 57 carries, 266 yards, 7 TDs. 2012: 121/212, 1,701 yards, 5 TDs, 8 INTs, 51 carries, 310 yards, 3 TDs. Seems the curse is even going for the runner up this year. RE: The Madden Curse is Alive and Well! - Jimusmc - 10-29-2012 04:45 PM the curse is shared between QB and WR.. look at stafford last year.. now look at him this year. RE: The Madden Curse is Alive and Well! - ViperXX79 - 10-29-2012 06:28 PM Ray Lewis does the opening intro for Madden too. RE: The Madden Curse is Alive and Well! - phocis850 - 10-29-2012 07:20 PM Matty ice better not say... Get the F off my cover. I don't want any players on there. RE: The Madden Curse is Alive and Well! - nativefalcon - 10-29-2012 10:14 PM Well it was last year, Peyton Hillis the year before was a beast, last year, when he was on the cover, he was hurt, this year, its like it continued onward. Brees though, it didn't hurt him that bad. darn.

If we can get a title I'll take my chances with a stupid curse. Besides we have Jesus, he can probably talk to his dad for us. RE: The Madden Curse is Alive and Well! - AUTiger7222 - 10-29-2012 11:12 PM I don't believe in this Madden curse crap. It's very simple. Guys have career years and then get put on Madden. There's only 1 way for them to go and that's down. Naturally there is going to be a drop off. That's the curse part. RE: The Madden Curse is Alive and Well! - AUTiger7222 - 10-30-2012 12:58 AM (10-30-2012 12:29 AM)ViperXX79 Wrote: But the drop off usually comes from injuries.
