Two teams that have had terrible execution are now going to try to out execute one another, I see why Fox put us on the back bench. This could be one of those games that is just hard to watch.

Pretty nice to have terrible execution and be 6-0, just wait until we actually get good!

I see us striking fast, coming out hot, giving them odd looks, much like the Denver game. We need to just keep our foot on the gas, make Vick try too hard (and capitalize on his mistakes) and get the crowd against them, helping us.

If we can keep Matt clean, use screen and playaction with proper holes to run through, I can see JJ getting chances deep to jump and make a play, and TG feasting on the middle.

Roddy keeps the chains moving, points come in waves, and the iggles struggle to keep up, giving our defense the chance to pin their ears back and pressure some throws.

We need to hold the edge, keep contain, and make the iggles one-dimensional.

This is a game we can definitely win, and I see us coming out a lot more polished than most are giving us credit for being.

I trust our coaches and players. They know what this game means, and we are the ones on the upswing, while the iggles are spinning their wheels looking just to keep their jobs. Dangerous prey, but easy to trick, corner, and kill.

I think Matt Bryant is going to be huge in this game. I see the Falcons having some drives stall out and having to settle for field goals. I'm going 30-24 Falcons with Bryant kicking 3 field goals.

I worry that this will be our first loss but if we win this then we play the Cowboys at home Saints on the road Cardinals at home and Bucs on the road. The way the Saints have been that's a winnable game and we should get the Boys at home. If we can put it together and beat the Eagles then I really think that we can be 11-0 then we'd play at home Vs. the Saints and at Carolina. 13-0 with the NYG coming to the dome is extremely unlikely but kinda possible. This game plays big though. Then we'd have the Lions in Detroit and the Bucs at home. I highly doubt we could go 16-0. I mean very highly doubt it, we'd have to get A LOT better. However, every game left on the schedule after Philly is a game that we will possibly be favored in, and all the games left you could pick the Falcons with little to no argument. Not saying they're easy, just saying that we'd be favored possibly. If you had to put it, what % do you guys think we have of 16-0 (although talk like that is very premature it's still fun for meaningless talk)

I think this game represents another mental hurdle for the Falcons. 2008 the Falcons played ok some of the game, and absolutely shitty other times in the game but Ryan was on the verge of leading another comeback when the Adam Jennings play happened. Then in 2010 Kevin Kolb ripped the Falcons a new one. Ryan didn't play particularly well in either game.

2008 - 23/44 (52.3%), 277 YDS (6.2), 2 TD, 2 INT - 68.1 QB Rating
2010 - 23/42 (54.8%), 250 YDS (6.0), 2 TD, 1 INT - 78.5 QB Rating

He wasn't completely terrible but he wasn't good either. I don't know if he's gotten the jitters of being back home and playing in the city where he grew up or what. But he's got to play much better than that to win on Sunday.

I don't think either Asomauga (?) or Rogers-Cromartie can cover 84 or 11 without safety help. I forsee a strong game from Turner and middle routes galore from TG, HD, Quizz, and Snelling. I have no idea what Nolan will come up with but it wouldn't surprise me to see some 5 man blitzes with a spy/delayed blitzer. i think we dare Vick to go long.

I think this team is a lot more composed than those last teams. The squad is a lot more experienced a lot more settled than those previous years. Look at last year against Philly we were down and fought our way back and win. This team is resilient as fuck at the moment. As someone else said one squad is in upswing the other is trying to slow down their fall. I don't think the men we have guiding the team now will allow philly to catch us with our pants down.

I don't expect us to waltz over them. But I expect us to walk softly and carry that big Hick'ry stick into Lincoln field, parry there blows and beat them into the ground.

I expect 10 Atlanta points a quarter

Looks like Sandy is coming up the coast bringing rain. 70% chance of rain Sunday in Philly, but not sure if during or after the game (due to hurricane path and speed). Regardless, looks to be in the mid-high 50's. I want it to be dry, but what does everyone feel the weather would impact, and which would you prefer?

After seeing how Vick handled weather in the past, let it pour.
