RE: A Plea to Radical on the Saints Thread - Aftermath - 10-24-2012 11:41 AM ok, thats it, Peyton needs to go!!!! RE: A Plea to Radical on the Saints Thread - ATLBound - 10-24-2012 11:55 AM Shhhh don't talk about it...lol But seriously I'm all for unlocking the thread. I have personally attacked Guido's work habits when it comes to the Saints winning and losing, but I didn't think that was bad. If so, then I apologize RE: A Plea to Radical on the Saints Thread - Peyton - 10-24-2012 01:32 PM (10-24-2012 11:05 AM)mdrake34 Wrote: It absolutely is a conflict of interest. It can be waived, but it's a conflict. I think the Saints players are probably willing to waive it as long as he rules in their favor. That guy has been straight trolling our boards for ages. This crap with the saints is a joke. I come here to read Falcons related news. It's a FALCONS BOARD. Yet how many threads about our team has he gone into and decided to start talking about the saints. How many times do fans of this team in our board have to sit their and read straight Bullshit this guy is pedalling. I have mostly kept out of the thread because I despise the subject matter enough as it is. I had a look early this week late last week and to see that it has hit upwards of 150 pages or whatever it is I was like right ok. I had a look and it's the same crap going on. Just because the dude is doing it with pleasantries and curtsies doesn't mean he ain't doing it at all. If I rape someone but give them flowers and a kiss afterwards. Have I not still raped them? Just because I go about it nicely doesn't mean I've not done it at all. If Beef was banned I personally think Guido should have been too. It's one thing putting across a valid and structured argument. But it has been one stack of assumptions. Delusions and straight conspiracy over and over again. It's insulting to anyone to basic intelligence to read a grown man trying to convince you that The saints are completely innocent in all of this. Roger Goodell isn't a fool as much as many people dislike him give the guy some credit for having basic human intelligence. Why would a man risk his Job, Reputation and possibly his freedom to screw a team for no reason. This has now descended into arguing over semantics and definitions oh well a bounty isn't pay for injury. The league condoned pay for injury in the past. The league didn't condone it. Thy were slow to react to a situation. thank you, plus one RE: A Plea to Radical on the Saints Thread - Radical - 10-24-2012 01:41 PM (10-24-2012 10:57 AM)Peyton Wrote: I'd vote for the thread to be unlocked, but I'd also be in favor of us moderators redoubling our efforts to insure that people respect each other on this site. And be extra strict in that particular thread. Let your will be done. Thy were slow to react to a situation. Somehow I missed this one until papachaz quoted it. Excellent post. It is a Falcons board. By the way, I ignored the aint fan months ago, but despite the managements statement that he can be ignored, it doesn't work. Others quote him, and you can see all his rubbish bs in their threads. It's fucking shameful that the biggest thread in the history of this message board is about the aints, and an aint troll (deny it all that you want, it is exactly what he is) espouses bullshit in it, but when he's called on his bs, the Falcon fans are the ones who get the warnings and time outs. RE: A Plea to Radical on the Saints Thread - phocis850 - 10-24-2012 04:12 PM Our longest thread by far would be about Vick and dogs. But, we weren't around then. The issue is this, people are complaining about one thread/topic and it having too many posts. The mods consolidated everything and stated that all talk about the bounty must be in that thread. Since it's still an ongoing issue, the thread would continue to grow. One member here believes that it's the biggest issue of the year. To some extent it is. This place IMO has been moderated very well. What other so called trolls do you guys see around here? None. We deal with them. We've dealt with Guido too. We haven't turned our eyes. There are plenty of places to talk about the Falcons. We believe that this is the best place on the net for it. We are not the size of larger boards. We don't have 100's of posts a day. Those places exist and they suck. If you feel like we are missing old posters, please invite them here. Nothing stops you from doing so. We aren't blocking access to this place. In fact, you'd be impressed with the amount of traffic we do get just from visitors that don't login. What it will take for them to register, I'm not sure, but this place was started because of a reason to leave the main board and many people came here and called it home. I personally love this place. I get just enough info I need and move on for the day. Yes, I'd like to see more info and more posts and more members, but blaming one person for that isn't truth. We all are to blame for what happens here. Us mods will continue to do our best here. We will continue to listen to members and do what we all believe is best for the site as a whole. By the Fans, for the Fans. RE: A Plea to Radical on the Saints Thread - Peyton - 10-24-2012 04:19 PM (10-24-2012 03:47 PM)mdrake34 Wrote: So you're disagreeing with him? It's what I do. |
