Chat is definitely a different beast. I discard anything that is said in there during game time, or at least give lots of leeway, if there is a place for emotional craziness that is it.

There is nothing wrong with this thread, you just make too many and they are usually always negative. Then, when someone differs in opinion from you, you get offended and start with the crazy talk. I am referring to several threads I have seen you post this season, not just this particular one.
As far as what happens in the chat? It has no bearing whatsoever on the forums. The chat is moderated, usually more strictly than the forum is. Many people do not use the gameday chat which is why one of your first threads this season was a huge WTF.

So I make too many threads? Isn't that what keeps this place interesting and running? The thread I made about being a shitty thread was me just venting. I just really needed to vent that day. That kind of thread won't be the norm from here.
The Philip Rivers thread was me asking a simple question. Why does the media give Philip Rivers a pass for not winning more, especially if he is considered an elite talent, like most in the media consider him to be. But then they turn around in the next breath an discredit everything Matt Ryan's done in the regular season because he's 0-3 in the playoffs. Why is there a double standard there? I thought most on here, as Falcons fans, would be asking the same question and have a problem with it too. I guess I was wrong.
This thread I thought would make for good discussion about what the people here thought of Peter King's suggestion, which I thought was really stupid. Could I have avoided calling him and idiot, maybe. But what's wrong with that? Was the "you complain too much" comment needed? If you consider that all complaining then yes I complain too much. But I don't consider that complaining or bitching or whining or whatever word you want to use.
I don't have a problem disagreeing with people. In fact I love to debate with people and you can't do that if you have the same view point. It's just that I don't like being questioned about my knowledge, passion and fandom.
Which thread are you talking about that was a WTF thread? My memory is failing me at the moment.

Posting threads is fine, I just do not subscribe to the notion that everything needs a thread. It is a personal opinion.

No, the comment was not needed but a number of people agree with it. Don't take it as a personal attack, it is just a message board and he was probably just fucking with you a little.

Our, not your. It was a thread responding to something in chat and no one knew what the hell it was about. This was mainly to address your concerns that there is a different "standard" for chat and the forums. Just remember that the chat is really just an added bonus this forum provides and really has no bearing on the forums.
