We are going to lose sometime in all likelihood, hopefully it comes at a good time (whatever that is), but a loss going into a bye would not have been a good time.

I've no doubt the team uses half their practice time to prepare for things we will not see on the field until January. Smitty is confident we will be there at the end, so he's likely looking to play with his foot off the gas for meow.

Hopefully if we keep winning these close ones, we're going to be able to rest lots of key players at the end. I never want to lose, but I sure don't want the 16-0 problem of having to play the last couple of weeks when everyone could be sitting and 100% for a home playoff game!
