Jones - Robiskie - papachaz - 10-09-2012 11:10 AM anyone have any idea why JJ was yelling at Coach Robiskie on the sideline during the game sunday? enquiring minds want to know RE: Jones - Robiskie - Aftermath - 10-09-2012 12:11 PM Didn't catch that myself, anyone got a gif? RE: Jones - Robiskie - Jesus - 10-09-2012 12:48 PM Robiskie said "When the ball hits your hands catch the ball, dadgummit." Jones said, "Yes coach! Will do!" RE: Jones - Robiskie - FullMetalFalcon23 - 10-09-2012 12:59 PM I get the feeling he was expressing his frustration at something to Robiskie he was clearly pissed but the body language and facial expression didn't show me the anger was directed at Robiskie so much as it was Ribuskie was the one who had to listen to it. If I am not mistaken it was after the play were Wilson was pushing on him and not watching the ball before Julio could make a reception. I felt that was a pass interference call that was missed. I also notice how people are now trying to label the kid with the drop label. He had one ball leave his hands to the best of my memory and that was that catch where he was double covered and it was a fast ball going out the back corner of the end zone. The ball was knocked out of his hands as he was trying to reel it in. That's a great play by the defender and one that could happen to any NFL receiver. The chance are you will see him pull a pass like that in later thus season. He learns from mistakes. Following that drop he had in the end zone against Denver. I've seen him bring the ball in and roll his body to be inbetweeners the the ball and the ground on 2 occasions. This is shaping up to be a great year for him 5 games 4tds I think we will see him finish with around 12 this year. And we are yet to see him really get the yardage going. This offense seems to be more based on moving the ball to the receiver down field at the moment. But I think we will see more of getting that ball out in places where yac takes over. With the way we are able to go deep and over teams I think those shorts will start to be taken to keep them in no mans land mentally and schematically. When you force a defense to be passive in their movement and reactionary they play slow. Eg our D the last 4 years. RE: Jones - Robiskie - AUTiger7222 - 10-09-2012 01:04 PM If I remember right that happened after a play where Ryan was hurried and had no choice but to try to get rid of the ball to avoid a sack and it resulted in a incomplete pass and a punt. I don't know why Julio was like that. RE: Jones - Robiskie - Polar Bear Jones - 10-09-2012 01:15 PM They did start feeding him the ball afterwards though. RE: Jones - Robiskie - Aftermath - 10-09-2012 02:55 PM IDK, maybe he knew he could beat the guy they had on him or something. RE: Jones - Robiskie - Dale4Saul2Red0 - 10-09-2012 05:14 PM Whatever it was Julio raised his level of play after it and started to go through a little tear RE: Jones - Robiskie - papachaz - 10-09-2012 06:42 PM I'm agreeing with fullmetal's assessment. more frustration than anger with Robiskie about something. yeah, it sure seems his 'game' improved afterwards RE: Jones - Robiskie - AUTiger7222 - 10-10-2012 01:21 AM I was just rewatching the game and this happened after the pick 6. The pick 6 was a swing pass to HD who had lined up at RB. So I'm still not clear what prompted this. |
