when we play the bucs - Xanthri - 09-23-2012 09:03 PM

we need to run the score up then continue to run the score up until his attack of the victory formation goes away!

What he did today was a total joke. I didn't have a problem with it last week but today I do. To call timeout twice and attack the victory formation 3 times is bush league.

I think Mike Smith will see that and make adjustments for it.
May just do victory in shotgun.

You know what would be funny? If we had one player on the outside run a streak route...fake the kneel and throw it long for a TD

i still don't get it. isn't there a rule that protects a player who is giving himself up? why doesn't that apply to the victory formation?

Giving yourself up is laying on the ground in the middle of the play.

A totally diff situation

Which is what Dexter McCluster did today when he hurt his elbow and the fucking refs called it a fumble and gave the Saints the ball and a touchdown.

I actually don't mind him coaching that. In a close game, you should never give up.
The answer is simple. Run up the score so that you are ahead by a ton, and then just punt the ball back to them on 1st down instead of kneeling.

Imagine being up 42-10 and with 5 minutes left, just punting the ball back to them on 1st down after every 4-and-out they have! He would get the message then! Imagine the talk shows the next morning! Tongue

The NFL will change the rules this offseason. Especially if Tom Brady ever needs to take a knee.
