Any cop would have pulled Turner over - nativefalcon - 09-18-2012 06:15 PM

Even if Turneir blew a .10 to .15 and was not that drunk. Going 97 in a 65 is going to get you pulled over any day of the week and twice on Sunday. If he would have driven the speed limit, I bet we would have not heard a thing about it. Turners biggest screwup besides driving drunk was speeding. I have had some DUI's in my past and I did the same thing. So I'm no angel.

What get me, if he was happy he broke the franchise record for TDs, for winning the game by that final run. You know Arthur Blank has a phone number to call come get me Ive had too much to drink. And not necessarily Arthur picking him up. Arthur probably has a cab company on retainer. Thats why its so stupid, he did this.

Time for Quizz or Snelling to start. Confused

i also heard on the NFL network today, that all NFL players have a number they can call if they get somewhere and can't drive, and the NFL will send a car for them, no matter where they are. I imagine they'd be a little reluctant to call, it would be kind of like telling on themselves. but then someone like Turner who never gets in trouble would be getting praised today for doing the right thing, instead of making headlines for doing the wrong thing.

I'm reminded of what Red always told Eric on "That 70's Show"

DUMBASS

Turner has enough money that he could've taken a goddamn helicopter. Just stupid.
