I agree about the hurricanes unless there was some joke that I missed there. If so, then I apologize to phocis but at face value its classless. Much bigger things then football and a rivalry.
Second, not the usual gibberish from Guido about the Saints being innocent. Now its "we dont care".....Strange

No. I still know there were no bounties. Six defensive players and Coach Vitt all swore under oath that there were no bounties in the hearing in District Court several days ago. I just don't care as much about what others think. So many people have been brainwashed by half truths and exaggerations that it isn't worth the trouble anymore.
As for Issac, I am much more concerned with the people on the Miss and La coasts than I am for New Orleans. The levee and pumping stations have been upgraded over the past seven years to the point that the city can withstand a storm much more powerful than Katrina.
But, I would much rather talk about the upcoming season. The loss of Chris Chamberlain withstanding, I really love the look of this year's roster.

We don't want things to "blow over" anymore. The more that comes out the more that the public has seen Goodell's claims were bogus .
That said, tough break losing Svitek like that. What other injuries are y'all concerned with?

Sentence one: What public? The people in New Orleans? Everyone else is still firmly on the side of the commish
Sentence two: Ehh, Dent getting a concussion isn't great, but he will be fine. Probably the worst would be Bradie Ewing (also on IR) other than that nothing major really

Oh, and ... whatever on the supposed bounty crap. As long as the players know what truly happened it isn't an issue moving forward.

Maybe because I've ridden out 2 Cat 4's, 2 Cat 3's, and several Cat 1's and 2's. And cat 1 or 2 is not gonna do much of anything. Growing up on the gulf coast you just live with the fact that hurricanes are not something to be scared about. However, that doesn't mean people don't need to prepare. What happened during Katrina was pure loss. Those people didn't have a competent mayor to get them the F out of there.
The SuperDome is probably the safest place in the city.

well, I've seen the NO Mayor several times on the weather channel today, and he's saying the superdome WON'T be used as a shelter this time. that seems crazy to me. if it held up as well as it did for Katrina, surely it would be a good place for a cat 1 or 2.
I hope they've gotten some of the levy and drainage issues taken care of....and personally, I hope it hits somewhere else, so we don't have to listen to all the Isaac crap added to the Katrina crap every time they play
