I can't believe it, but i think the Colts have struck gold again. Un-fricking-believable. That Peyton Manning neck injury did kind of happen at the perfect time, in retrospect. RE: Bold fantasy football predictions - phocis850 - 08-20-2012 10:19 AM So if Luck doesn't win any playoff games for the first 4 years, would he get the same treatment as Ryan? For sure he will. I don't think the guy is going to have that problem though. If I am being honest I think he is already better than Matt Ryan. If I am being honest I think he is already better than Matt Ryan. Ugh, not this shit again. What a crock. The guy threw for 175 yards and 2 interceptions last night and looked lost at times. There's no freaking way he could make defensive reads all on his own and call plays from a no-huddle half as good as Matt. Luck will have under 25 TD's and over 20 ints. Matt will have over 30 TD's and under 15 ints. RE: Bold fantasy football predictions - Peyton - 08-20-2012 11:18 AM (08-20-2012 10:58 AM)Beef Wrote: Ugh, not this shit again. What a crock. Well Matt has a much better supporting cast, but I think Luck will do a lot better than what you posted there. Andrew Luck made one bad pass last night. That's it. Other than that, he did not look lost. And obviously........the second interception was about ask flukey as it gets. You can't throw a pass any more perfect than that one. My comment wasn't a rip on Matt. I just think Luck is by far the best rookie QB I've ever seen. If you mean he's already better than Matt Ryan is now, I'd have to disagree and would also state that there is nowhere near enough evidence to be able to even begin to make that assessment. That sounds like textbook ESPN hype. The guy hasn't even played against a real NFL defense yet. If you mean he's better than Ryan was as a rookie, that may very well turn out to be true, but we will see. The real games will start in two weeks, and after a few of them, people can decide if they think I am crazy or not. RE: Bold fantasy football predictions - Peyton - 08-20-2012 02:40 PM Hey I take that back. People are more than welcome to decide I am crazy now if they want lol. We'll see how it goes though. I imagine it will be worse, After all Luck was the Number 1 pick overall. With Luck you have fringe minority of crazy people that already think Luck is better than Ryan, which means they expect him to win right now, In Ryan's first year ESPN predicted us to win 3 games. People seem to forget that kind of stuff, and take things for granted. Although I would not want to be Luck if RG3 gets a handful of playoff wins before him(although, Washington is in a tougher division than the Colts) |
