ESPN 1500 Twin Cities reports Michael Jenkins recently agreed to slash his $2.5 million salary to $1 million.
"Molasses Mike" saw the writing on the wall. Per beat writer Tom Pelissero, Jenkins also agreed to cut his $2.5 million 2013 salary to $825,000. The 60 percent pay-cut coupled with rookie Greg Childs' season-ending injury could be enough to secure Jenkins' 2012 roster spot, but it's doubtful he'll be back in 2013. Jenkins is Rotoworld's No. 104 receiver.

I liked Mike, sure he wasn't the best wide out, sure he would sometimes drop an easy ball, sure he isn't particularly fast. but when you needed a circus catch to keep a drive alive, he would deliver. No I'm not saying bring him back, but he wasn't as bad as you people make him out to be.

I agree, he was serviceable, certainly no Peerless Price, but I don't miss him either.

^^^ this one ^^^^ usually just about the time I was finishing screaming at the TV for him dropping ball when he was wide open, he'd make a fingertip grab going out of bounds.....I definitely had hate/love/hate type feelings about him, usually all in the same game Big Grin
