RE: 25 - 30 snaps - phocis850 - 08-14-2012 12:34 PM He got a helmet to the side of the head. You guys are WAY over-reacting. And to be clear, he was to compete for the starting position and he still is. Don't count Peterson out just because. ST is a very important part of football. To have your starters pulled from ST play would be absolutely stupid. Come game 1 it would be a concern for our team as it would have to many fresh faces in there. Dent got a concussion. It's not the end of the world. Ewing is out for the season and he wasn't even touched by anyone when that injury happened. Get a grip people. RE: 25 - 30 snaps - AUTiger7222 - 08-14-2012 01:22 PM You guys do realize that there are only 46 active players on game day right? That means some starters have to play ST. I'm only asking because I don't remember. Lofton wasn't in on ST was he? I do agree he needs the bulk of his practice at MLB though, which was the main point of my original post RE: 25 - 30 snaps - phocis850 - 08-14-2012 07:00 PM (08-14-2012 05:59 PM)papachaz Wrote: ok I started this mess.....LMAO the only thing I'm going to go back to say is that your #2, ok so he did have tons of practice playing ST last year, was it from the MLB position? The evidence for this is overwhelming. RE: 25 - 30 snaps - papachaz - 08-14-2012 07:48 PM (08-14-2012 07:00 PM)phocis850 Wrote: Lofton has a hard time seeing a football flying through the air. Apparently he had to leave practice today due to issues with the heat. Link The high in New Orleans was 93 today with 85-90% humidity. You;d think he got used to that kind of stuff in Flowery Branch. Link ok reading that article, this was in the comments at the bottom, cracked me up: "The thing about quotes on the internet is that you cannot confirm their validity." -Abraham Lincoln but yeah, you'd think CL would have some experience dealing with humidity while he was here. Mother Nature better watch out, the taints will put a bounty on her.....or run crying to the NFL that she's put one on them ![]()
RE: 25 - 30 snaps - phocis850 - 08-15-2012 09:47 AM The gulf coast has a horrible humidity level. You walk outside and you instantly start sweating. Some days you drive with the wipers on though its not raining. It's a night and day difference between ours and their humidity. RE: 25 - 30 snaps - Jesus - 08-15-2012 01:22 PM Can't fault the guy for heatstroke, but when Gonzo pulls down a few passes on his head.... |
