RE: Saints Bounty Thread - JDaveG - 07-26-2012 09:25 PM My favorite part is "Vilma never PUT UP cash for tackles that injured opponents." Of course, that's not what Goodell accused him of. He might as well have said "I didn't kill Jimmy Hoffa." RE: Saints Bounty Thread - AsylumGuido - 07-31-2012 08:15 PM (07-26-2012 09:24 PM)JDaveG Wrote: Here's the Yahoo news story: As I have implied all along. There was no "bounty" program. There was nothing going on that wasn't going on in any other locker room in the league. Nobody on the Saints, or any other team, would target players for injury. There is a reason behind this and it isn't to protect the players. It is to protect the owners and their proxy, Goodell, from lawsuits. One way or another, Goodell is going down big time. No guarantee, but a very good feeling. You've never once addressed these tweets by King, Schefter, and Freeman. They were shown concrete evidence that came off your team's computer's that CONFIRMED a bounty program. Quit posting your shit. You're a freaking joke here and nobody wants to read your denial filled batshit crazy spin any longer. That article could have been about ducks and would have been more relevant to what you just said. Saints Bounty Thread - juraitwaluzka - 07-31-2012 09:40 PM I don't care how credible King, Schefter and Freeman appear to be, until they get a thumbs up their words are meaningless. RE: Saints Bounty Thread - papachaz - 07-31-2012 10:23 PM i can't believe aints fans still think goodell is going down. there's been more proof that there was a bounty program going on then there has been that there wasn't. oh, a bunch of guilty guys, or guys with knowledge that there was, saying there wasn't, well what a surprise that is! i mean, i'm just taken aback that anyone would doubt these guys. i mean in the history of the world, every single criminal or person who was accused of doing something illegal or against the rules has ALWAYS admitted it, and has NEVER denied it or tried to lie about it or cover it up, nope, never never never. nor have they ever gotten their friends/buddies to go and lie for them, i mean there's never ever been a false alibi given has there. wait, what, i'm supposed to believe that Goodell would risk everything he has by performing his job, within the boundaries of the power given to him by the contract the NFLPA approved and signed, without having enough proof to merit the penalties he bestowed, but NOT that those guilty players and their friends (mentioned above) would risk going into court and lieing under oath. i'm sick of this whole bunch of shit, man UP vilma, just shut the fuck up, serve your time, and come back at the end of the suspension. if you weren't guilty, you should have been there the first time you were called in to give your side of the story, screaming of your innocence THEN, not AFTER the punishment was handed down. if you were innocent, you should have stood up and yelled it then. even if the punishment was only going to be a few games, if you were innocent, you should have said something THEN....i hope when this is all said and done, after the lawsuit is thrown out, that goodell bans this dumbass for life ok, i've said what i've felt all along, i've tried to stay out of this for the most part, but it's just gotten to the point i had to get it out of my system. i'm done with it. nothing any aints fan says or demands, means ANYTHING. goodell does not HAVE TO SHOW HIS PROOF TO YOU, and just because you haven't seen it means your team isn't guilty of all the things they've been accused of. just go AWAY and SHUT UP RE: Saints Bounty Thread - juraitwaluzka - 07-31-2012 11:08 PM A few others that didn't do it, and of course we should just blindly take them at their word ![]()

RE: Saints Bounty Thread - JDaveG - 08-01-2012 08:31 AM I'm going to say again, it's notable how carefully they tailor their words. "Vilma never PUT UP cash for TACKLES that injured opponents." NOT he never PROMISED money for HITS that injured opponents. Etc. It's like someone accusing me of shooting Susan Jones and my defense is "but wait, I never cut Bill Smith's throat! INNOCENT!" |
