RE: Saints Bounty Thread - TeamPlayer1 - 06-26-2012 09:26 PM Vilma's defamation suit say that Goodell was guilty of slander, but wait, Goodell was acting in his official position as NFL Commissioner so the NFL law team will be defending him. Let's see, Vilma hired a private attorney to represent him instead of the NFLPA lawyers. The NFLPA legal team is laying low so what does that say? I hope Vilma has saved his money because if he does not prevail those billable hours will mount up astronomically! RE: Saints Bounty Thread - RFlagg - 06-27-2012 11:57 AM Not quite bounty related but... Drew Brees stalemate draws letter Quote:Drew Brees stalemate draws letter When it rains, it pours. LMAO can this offseason GET any better? RE: Saints Bounty Thread - ChrisD - 06-27-2012 08:40 PM Dear NFL, We ask that despite us claiming that your investigation on the Saints bounty program was flawed, unfair and poorly executed, that you take the time to investigate the Saints and Drew Brees' contact negotiations. Sincerely, NFL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION RE: Saints Bounty Thread - googlywoogly - 06-27-2012 09:07 PM Anyone who can't see what an enormous catastrophic debacle this whole Saint episode is reminds me of this guy: RE: Saints Bounty Thread - TeamPlayer1 - 06-27-2012 09:08 PM (06-27-2012 08:40 PM)ChrisD Wrote: Dear NFL, Thank you, will investigate Drew Brees' contract as our schedule allows. While I like to tease Guido about this happening, I seriously doubt Breed won't play this year. I think he either signs a long term contract at the deadline or else signs his 1 year tender during training camp. It is nice to tease, though. RE: Saints Bounty Thread - Drathdon - 06-27-2012 11:29 PM If... IF... he signs a one year deal, and gets hurt, so that he cannot play again.... Man. That will destroy every contract negotiation from here to forever. The irony of him paying the ultimate price for all this bounty nonsense, and denial, would not be lost on me, though. RE: Saints Bounty Thread - Drathdon - 07-01-2012 03:52 PM 15 days left to sign a deal for Brees. Tick...tick...tick... Tick...tick...tick... |
