No. I am just part of the growing tide that believes the Saints have been totally railroaded by Goodell and that he has terribly underestimated his power over the players. The coaches and front office were threatened to keep their mouths shut when he suspended them. He has discovered that the players are going to take the bogus punishment lying down.

Shanle did not admit to anything about a bounty on opposing players. THAT is what they were accused of. They were accused of INTENTIONALLY injuring opponents for pay. Shanle admitted to a pay for performance program and said that Gregg Williams used terms like whacks and cartoffs referring to legal hard hits. That is not a bounty as Goodell described to the press. The supposed ledger, which wasn't used as evidence at the appeal sham today, does not support the existence of bounties or intentional injuries to opponents.

They (the NFL) must feel it validates prior evidence.

It was shared, although not by the 72 hour deadline prior to the appeal as the CBA demands. Reports are that it included the Shanle article, the Pamphilon tape and a power point of quotes from Gregg Williams. Reportedly, it did not contain any evidence whatsoever supporting the claim of a bounty program.

The CBA calls for 3 calendar days not 72 hours. Vilma's lawyer is trying to twist the timeline. If the NFL provided any criteria anytime Friday the 15th that would satisfy the 3 calendar days.

You know what's awesome. I don't care what happens to the Saints.

I don't care if they are guilty or not. I'm just surprised that you haven't learned anything yet Guido.
You don't know a damn thing. Nor do we or anyone else.
That's how it goes. Deal with it when we DO know something.

Don't blurt out facts saying this and that until all the evidence is presented. Until then its all just speculation and opinion.

Shanle said if the legal hits lead to an injury then they still got paid for it, which means they got paid for injuries. The intent doesn't matter. This falls in line with why Shanle said it wasn't as bad as the NFL was making it out to be.

NFL just showed reporters evidence in Saints case, incl allegation of $35k bounty, not just $10k, to knock Favre out of '09 NFC title game.

The $35k bounty on Favre, the league claims, included a $5000 pledge from current interim Saints coach Joe Vitt.

Gregg Wiliams was clearly the biggest source for NFL but no question league has many other sources.
