I know the league came to them after the 2010 playoffs and said that they were accused of placing a bounty on a Viking player. They found no evidence of it happening, but told the Saints not to undertake this practice in the future. If you research back it had nothing to do with a pay for performance program back then. It was all based upon a claim of a bounty on a Viking player. Well, if they never placed a bounty on a player they complied with the demand, right? But what if it was run by a cocky coach that some people do not like, especially those fans from a team he has dominated (not gloating, just fact), and beyond that was just in the wrong place at the wrong time to give Goodell a target to show his compassion for the players? Think about it. How bad will it feel if your Falcons can't handle the Saints after this off-season? Huh? I'm just hoping that more of this watered down "evidence" keeps surfacing showing that the Saints players were not the villains as they had been originally been portrayed. Yes, they were guilty of a pay for performance program, but they did not have bounties on opposing players as was plastered all over the media for weeks. This is an example of the bargain stage folks. He is progressing slowly but he is coming along and that's all that matters. I, ATLBound, hereby certify that Asylum Guido has progressed to the Bargain stage of Denial. He has shown slow progress but he graduates with the honoe or becoming our most improved student. Now wheres that Yolo001 guy that was "helping" Guido out before? Is that his name? RE: Saints Bounty Thread - Jesus - 06-08-2012 09:08 PM 62 pages and all I can say is: FUCK THE SAINTS RE: Saints Bounty Thread - ATLBound - 06-08-2012 09:30 PM (06-08-2012 09:02 PM)AsylumGuido Wrote: Well, I guess you both are wrong and more importantly, the Saints, while undergoing a few pressures, will once again dominate the division.Bwahahahahaha this is classic acceptance of the truth. He has accepted it so now he is trying to move on and talk shit at the same time. Yes Guido you have permission to start another thread about how the Saints are still atop the division. This thread is about the Saints retardedness and their mishaps. If you don't want to further anger or embarrass yourself then you should probably ignore this thread. Lmao....I never thought you would get this low Guido. Damn it's sad... Don't be a dumbass, ooops too late, NFC South Champions: 2002 Tampa 2003 Carolina 2004 Atlanta 2005 Tampa 2006 Cesspool 2007 Tampa 2008 Carolina 2009 Cesspool 2010 Atlanta 2011 Cesspool Cess Pool 3 Carolina 3 Tampa 2 Atlanta 2 Yes, quite the domination there. And before you say "oh yeah, well 2 out of the last 3 years", Both Atlanta and Tampa can equal the mark in 1 season, again nothing near domination. RE: Saints Bounty Thread - phocis850 - 06-09-2012 01:17 AM Goodell makes too much money and is surrounded by too many smart people to just say, "hey, lets have some fun". When the news broke on what the punishments were, I knew then that Goodell had enough evidence. Naming 4 players and giving different terms for each isn't something you just make up for fun. The saints are not holier than thou. They did some bad things and got caught. They deserve to get punished. By the end of all this, Vilma will be tweeting like a bird. |
