Heaven forbid a business tries to make as much money as possible. It's not like these football players are working in a sweatshop for less than minimum wage. They have a choice to play this sport for a living or do something else. If they feel they're being exploited by the folks who run the business they work in, THEN FUCKING QUIT.

I LOVE Thursday night games and I am soooo glad there's more of them now. It's not like they are making teams play on Monday night, then Thursday night, then Sunday afternoon. They've split them up fairly well with an ocassional Sunday-Thursday-Sunday team.

But even still, football players in the old days use to play both ways with broken bones and concussed and you couldn't drag them off the field because they loved the game and wanted to play it no matter what. There's professional athletes out there who run, swim, and/or bike for hundreds of miles day after day after day and their bodies make it. There's sports that require persons to do the most amazing feats of athleticism that are incredibly harder on the body and mind than what football players go through.

The players signed off on the CBA and agreed to all this shit. This isn't ALL on Goodell. The media, and whiny ass bitches like Simmons, are sensationalizing this stuff to MAKE MONEY. They're picking a side and attacking in the hopes it will sell more readership. Simmons reams Goodell claiming he doesn't give a shit about player safety when this guy doesn't give a shit about it himself. He's just happy Goodell has turned into an evil figure so he and the media can exploit it.
