I love Will Smith's comments to the commissioner. He said by knocking out of the game, they were talking about knocking the wind out of someone so they would have to be off the field briefly. Smith is a lot of things but he is a HORRIBLE liar

NFL Bounty Communications
well some of the evidence is released. click the link to read the commissioners letter to all 32 teams, as well as a few documents. Of course the delusional taints fans are still saying there's no evidence.
have to admit that I am NOT a fan of Rogers. I've said since his tenure began as commissioner he's an egotistical bastard who had way way way too much power. Not that I am backing down from that much at all, but reading this it really seems like he had/has his 'ducks in a row' all along. He's named some player names, and spelled out why he did what he did.
I just can't see a court being able to do anything really. of course a taints fan for a judge might try, but I can't see it not being appealed. I'm curious why the NFL didn't ask for a change of venue....

They finally banned me... and I wasn't even really trolling.

lasted longer than I figured you would, what was it, a week? so a Falcons fan can go there and get banned even if he doesn't consider himself a troll, what a novel concept

The banning was rescinded almost immediately. As Radical said, he did nothing wrong and the mods agreed. A few thin skinned members flagged some of the posts and a junior mod acted without researching. I got it cleared up quickly.

Note that almost all, if not all, of any tangible "evidence" came from one single source, Mike Cerullo. All of the handwritten "documents" were handed over by him and the contention is that they were produced long after the fact.
I can't wait to see Cerullo in court, under oath facing cross-examination.

Interesting story! My how their stories change. Note they even still have the same "NFL spokesman".
Packers' Big Hits Earned Cash, Courtesy Of All-pro Reggie White - Philly.com
January 13, 1996|ASSOCIATED PRESS Inquirer staffer Tim Panaccio contributed to this report
Packers defensive end Reggie White acknowledged yesterday that he doled out his entire paycheck to his teammates following last week's playoff victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
``I gave them money for big hits,'' White said.
The smash-for-cash program depleted White's $13,000 game check in $500 increments, according to a report in Friday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
White, the 34-year-old all-pro and former Eagle, said his incentive program would continue for tomorrow's NFC championship game against the Dallas Cowboys.
More than 10 players received $500, including linebacker Wayne Simmons, who was rewarded for the fumble he forced that was returned for the game's first touchdown by teammate Craig Newsome, White said.
White awarded himself $500 for a hard hit on 49ers quarterback Steve Young.
``I don't know if the money is any more motivation, but I know I paid out a lot,'' White said.
Giving cash bonuses for big plays and hits has been going on in Green Bay since the 1994 season, the Journal Sentinel's story said.
About 75 percent of the players contributed money this year to a fund for that purpose, but the pot had run dry by the final weeks of the regular season. White and defensive end Sean Jones then kicked in money to keep it operating.
Greg Aiello, an NFL spokesman, said there was nothing wrong with what White did, likening it to a quarterback buying gifts for his offensive linemen.

You have throughout the week been responding to posts and threads repeatedly.
I distinctly remember you saying that work and other things has limited your access to only the weekends.
Is that really the truth or have u been absent until the Saints got their 1st win? Its just really convenient that right after that 1st win you have been active non stop on these boards.
Dont get me wrong, it hasn't been all bad. You did give congrats and whatnot but it just seems really fishy that you have all this access throughout the week ever since.
I guess in the end it doesn't matter. I just want to know

I am back at my original office this morning where I have access. I am trying to get caught up, but I am going to have to run off soon. I will try to check back in later.
