He is saying that they got 90% of Payton already...

Before training camp and OTA's start they got 90% of Payton.

In May, they got 90% of Payton

Before cuts with 90 players on the roster they got 90% of Payton

Before preseason they got 90% of Payton

Before injuries, trades, etc. they got 90% of Payton

Before the regular season starts they got 90% of Payton

And somehow, someway before even understanding who their opponents MIGHT be, but according to Guido, WILL be in the playoffs they have 90% of Payton.

Well shit. Fire him for cause. You save money, and you get to keep most of the guy anyways.

It's useless debating because you are undermining Payton's worth so bad it's crazy

Of course things change week to week. But you are undermining Payton's staff's worth so bad it is crazy. You are characterizing them as being so incompetent that they can't handle the weekly goings on with an NFL team.

I'll assure you that Payton never made decisions in a vacuum. He always gets input from his staff. Have you read his book yet? He talks about the importance of staff in it.

Because Payton developed the process. Without Payton the process would not be in place.

I'll see if I can make your day then. It may take a while. I have no idea exactly where or when I read that. Although, it was probably sometime soon after the Super Bowl win. It may have even been in his book, come to think of it.

I thought I cleared up in a post earlier to refrain from putting words in my "text."

When I claim that you said something and get called out for it, then I quote your quote to show you where you said it.

I have not once said the staff is incompetent. I have only said that they are not Payton. I believe wholeheartedly that because they are not Payton then your team will see a dip in their record and production. You stated that because Payton provided a map out of the season that they have 90% of him and that you will see NO DIP IN PRODUCTIVITY with him gone. How can you claim that? Please fire Payton then...we (the Falcons) dare you to...lol.

While I feel they can successfully navigate through this coming season without Payton physically standing on the sideline, they would be severely hurt by his lack of presence going into the following season.

or in the meeting rooms, or on the practice field, or in the building, or talking with the team, or in the locker room, etc.

If the team had fired Payton, and promoted Vitt to HC, would you be saying the same thing? That's what it is. The guy is fired for a season. You don't cut loose a HC like that and not expect to feel a serious impact.
