Robert Mathis - DL - Colts
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution believes the Falcons may target free agent DE Robert Mathis if free agent DE John Abraham prices himself out of their plans.
Abraham is currently seeking an unreasonable $12 million per year. Mathis is an Atlanta native, but re-signing him is expected to be one of the Colts' top priorities. Sunday is Mathis' 31st birthday, while Abraham will turn 34 in May.

And the AJC article does not say "we will" go after Mathis, it's just speculation by jackass D.Led.
Here is the exact quote from the article, "The Falcons would like to retain Abraham, who wants to be paid $12 million per year as one of the top five defensive ends in the league. That demand may force the Falcons to consider other options, which could include trying to sign Indianapolis defensive end Robert Mathis in free agency."

D-Led is an idiot - i mean, I'm not joking - he's an idiot - cannot even speak and he is in the media......I used to be embarrassed for him - now I'm embarrassed for Atlanta every time he gets interviewed by NFL Network.
D-Led does not have one source in Flowery Branch and he has never broken one story.
As far as Robert Mathis goes, this is just pure speculation by Ledbetter - 100% guess.
