To say that Grimes owes the Falcons something by playing under his actual value is complete bullshit. Do the individuals who think that on here also feel that Matt Forte owes it to the Bears to play under-priced? Get real.

I think the team will be fine without him.

It wasn't like our secondary was awesome with him there. There is no reason for the Falcons to have 2 $50 million CBs. In fact one is too many. I believe Robinson was the highest paid CB in the playoffs and well he went nowhere. Overpaid CBs are the biggest sham in football.

I think unless you have a guy the likes of Revis, Jonathan Joseph, Bailey, Samuel - You can't afford to pay them $50+. I was excited to have Robinson added, but also very weary. Cornerbacks drop off way too much from year to year, you never know what you'll get.

How will we improve by taking away a top 3 cover CB? Amount of pay doesn't equal quality. Robinson is overpaid, Grimes is underpaid.

It's like saying we won't miss Abraham because our pass rush was poor this past year.

Because the top 3 cover CBs are all at home right now. You don't need one to succeed. Asomaogh, Revis, and Grimes all have have the same number of rings.

Amount of pay equals team need. We paid that much for Robinson because he filled that need at the time. Which is a greater need? LT, DE or CB?

We will pay the premium for one of those positions not all three.

Least Important position on D, spend the money somewhere else.

Yea, I think its becoming the norm to spend more money on the Line and a safety. I great Dline will make up for great CB's. See... Giants in the SB. The Line is lights out. The CB is a bunch of nobodys that play good enough to get by.

So are the top defenses, and wide receivers, and offensive lines. Just because you don't "need" it doesn't mean you just let it go and replace it with inferior talent.
