Look at what the Patriots did to Richard Seymour, what the Colts are doing to Peyton Manning, etc. How can you expect players to show "loyalty" when the moment the organization thinks it can save money or grab a few draft picks, they'll cut or trade you.
Obviously there are exceptions, but the whole concept of loyalty is nonsense in the NFL today, and business in general.

Player sucks ass doesn't show up during big games yet team is stuck with him because of cap reasons. Collects a check and puts on cruise control. Poor player, he only made 1.5 million and now he got cut. How dare someone get cut after not earning his measly little check.

I dont have no problem with Grimes trying to get paid... I also understand if the Falcons dont want to pay a guy nearing 30 a big long term contract... Its business..

well mainly Drob and Edwards. But, in general, players don't deserve loyalty. What they deserve is money, and if they don't earn it they deserve to be cut.

Grimes is one of my favorite players, I'd hate to lose him but coming off a knee injury for a player who's biggest skill is his leaping ability paired with the fact that he's almost 30 paired with the allegations that he may have sat out of a playoff game for money to me means he can go.
He's our best corner but he isn't worth what he's allegedly asking. It's too bad we gave Robinson that contract.

Missed out on? He obviously didn't put up the numbers good enough to garner that money coming out of college so he got exactly what he deserved.
