If he stays in Indy, he's a $35M dollar cap hit this year. If he goes, he's a $7M cap hit.
Archer was saying on the radio that Peyton said he doesn't even recognize the place anymore and when he goes there, the entire atmosphere and culture is different.
He's not going to be in Indy this season. It can't be any more obvious.

If he's smart, he would want to go to San Fran. Instant championship if you add Manning to that team. Heck they could even create a short run dynasty with him and Gore with that D

The niners have a lot of free agents on D though, and bringing in Manning at 20+ mil will prevent that D from staying the same.

Peyton doesn't control the contract, as far as I know.

I don't think Peyton will be about who will pay him more. I don't think that's his style He ain't hurting in the bank so all he's going to wanna do is win more titles. So he's going to go where there's a D. He's not out to show up his brother so New York Jets wont happen

New York Jets won't happen because Peyton wants to go to a contender, not a circus led by a clown who will be fired midway through the season.

I agree that he won't be asking for the highest paying QB contract, but he certainly won't come in for a mid level contract.
