Peyton (Coopers brother, not the admin) - pauliwood - 01-26-2012 06:50 PM So it looks like Peyton might have played his last snap as a Colt, the question now is where does he go? One move that could help 3 franchises would be if Indy trades Peyton to Denver (Indy probably gets a first rounder, or whomever they want on the Denver roster) This move gives Elway his prized pocket passer QB. This move also allows Denver to trade Tebow to his home town of Jacksonville, which will immediately bolster ticket sales among a franchise who was one of the worst in that category. This seems to be a win-win for everybody, or a win-win-win in this case. RE: Peyton (Coopers brother, not the admin) - pauliwood - 01-26-2012 07:13 PM Anybody else have any thoughts about where Manning goes? RE: Peyton (Coopers brother, not the admin) - mdrake34 - 01-26-2012 07:37 PM Jets? They have to get rid of Holmes, and probably the Dirty Sanchez. Wow, haven't thought about that scenario. Talk about a sibling rivalry, doesn't get much bigger than the Battle of New York. RE: Peyton (Coopers brother, not the admin) - Anomaly - 01-26-2012 07:46 PM I wouldn't be surprised to see Washington make a run at getting him. Dan Snyder loves to overpay for players. RE: Peyton (Coopers brother, not the admin) - mdrake34 - 01-26-2012 07:47 PM As to your initial scenario, Bill Simmons, my favorite sports writer, suggested Jacksonville straight up trade Gabbert for Tebow, and that Elway would have to take it. I disagree. Gabbert is pure and utter garbage. And he has a haircut like a fucking asshole. RE: Peyton (Coopers brother, not the admin) - juraitwaluzka - 01-26-2012 07:49 PM Maybe Arizona, who wouldn't like throwing to Fitzgerald and they don't exactly have an established or even potential future QB. Another option, and I doubt it would happen, but San Francisco would be a championship level choice. They would be in the SB right now if he was the QB instead of Alex Smith. I think there's a good chance there won't be a trade, they may just release him, it will depend on the cap hit, but I think if they traded him the tradee would have to eat the contract? RE: Peyton (Coopers brother, not the admin) - Radical - 01-26-2012 07:51 PM This reads like a bad Madden fantasy trade thread.
